Mabey’s prefabricated bridge systems are comprised of interchangeable, rectangular panels that pin together to form trusses which support floor beams (transoms) of varying lengths:

• Steel deck units span between the transoms
• Transom length increases to carry multiple lanes of traffic
• Simply add more panels to span greater distances or carry heavier loads
• Can be built quickly and with minimal site equipment
• Constructed of high-strength galvanized steel, and manufactured to the highest standards
• Specialized components can be integrated to reduce deflection – or bridge sag – common among older panel bridge systems
• Steel checkerplate deck can be paved with asphalt or covered with an anti-skid surface
