Size and Specifications

The Dura-Base Composite Mat is assembled from two parts that mate at the centerline of the mat. The parts are fastened together by:

• A weld along the exposed seam,
• Fasteners distributed thoughout the mat, and by
• Dowels (not shown) that resist the shearing action between the two parts when subjected to a bending load.

The Large Mat:
8ft x 14ft
(2.44m x 4.27m) Approx. 1050lbs (477kg)
The large mats are more widely used, because more surface area is installed with each mat. The slots in the mat are positioned to allow installation in a variety of configurations.

The Small Mat: 7.5ft x 8ft
(2.3m x 2.4m), Approx. 550lbs (250kg)
The small mats are typically used to terminate roadways or square off work locations where the large mats have been installed in a staggered pattern.
