The JC40® Box:

• Adjustable strut system allows JC40® to work in excavations up to 14' (4.25m) (or 20' with 8" pipe adaptors) wide;
• Pinned mechanical struts allow the box to be "stepped in" to the trench,  making box placement and removal easier;
• With the box in place, the struts can be braced against the trench walls, minimizing disturbance to surrounding soil;
• Depth rating of 13' (4.0m) in Type C soil (when used with extension box)

Heavy Duty Boxes:
Heavy Duty trench boxes can be equipped with a high-arch spreader , allowing easy access for large pipelaying, boring and jacking, etc. or tubular static struts (see photos below).

• Traditional "static", tubular- strut box
• Dimensions ranging from 10' (3m) to 28' (8.5m) long and 8' (2.4m) high
• Wall thicknesses of 4, 6, or 8" (101, 152, or 203mm), depending on the soil requirements
• Extension boxes available for greater depths; rated to 27' (8.23m) in Type C soil
• High arch spreaders available for large pipelaying operations

The Four-Sided Box is an excellent solution for a variety of shoring jobs, from manholes and footings to small tanks; it's the perfect tool for work in holes that require shoring on four sides.
