Regional Sales MGR
Summary
The Sales Manager plans and directs all aspects of MBSI’s business development and marketing initiatives within their respective regions. Must conceive, implement and complete sales goals by performing various tasks and directing the work of others. You will be responsible for contributing to the achievement of the company objectives by maximizing revenues, profitability and customer loyalty.
Essential Responsibilities
· Develop, coach, motivate, recruit, and mentor direct outside sales representatives, inside sales staff and other designated sales personnel;
· At a minimum, have bi-monthly sales meetings to; review individual sales representative activity, call reports, EGWs, close ratios and problem accounts;
· Weekly travel with regional sales representatives within their respective territories;
· Approve, oversee the sales rep’s expenses in accordance with company rules
· Coordinate with management on regional sales development and business plan execution.
· Strive to achieve rental goals and management profit established for the region;
· Review Salesforce and InspHire on a weekly basis to chart performance
· Work with VP of Sales to develop strategies for new business rental opportunities;
· Structure, negotiate and close complex transactions;
· Determine conference/trade shows opportunities for future attendance;
· Schedule periodic meetings and work closely with the Depot Managers and associated support staff to ensure that business strategies are consistent with operational objectives and that customer relationships are appropriately maintained.
· Increase usage of Salesforce.com to the 100% level to maximize daily efficiency and organization of your sales team as well as the company.
· Ensure that transportation costs are fully recovered and that rental contracts do not subsidize the transportation costs
