Mabey Bridge & Shore, Inc. is seeking an experienced Welder for the Piscataway, NJ depot.

Duties/Responsibilities - Welder:

• Load and Unload equipment off trailers with a forklift
• Joins, fabricates, and repairs metal and other weldable materials by applying appropriate welding techniques.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Relies on instruction and pre-established guidelines to perform functions of the job.
• Load and Unload equipment off trailers with a forklift.
• Maintain company safety standard and enforce safety regulations.
• Engage in daily maintenance & keeping records on equipment. Forklifts, Cut rigs, Power washer, paint equipment.
• Inspects equipment for damages and recommends damage costs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent.

2. Must be at least 18 years of age.

3. At least 2 years welding experience with certification.

4. Experience in driving a forklift.

4. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

5. Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
