Mabey Bridge & Shore, Inc. is seeking a Certified Welder for the Worcester, MA depot.

Duties/Responsibilities - Welder:

• Joins, fabricates, and repairs metal and other weldable materials by applying appropriate welding techniques.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Relies on instruction and pre-established guidelines to perform functions of the job.
• Works under the immediate supervision of the Fab Shop Foreman and/or the Depot Manager.
• Inspects equipment for damages and notifies Supervisor.
• Follow maintenance testing & repairs procedures of products.
• Participate in monthly perpetual stock take and semi annual full stock take. 
• Various duties as assigned.

Requirements:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent.

2. Formal training, apprenticeship, or certification as a welder.

3. Familiar with a variety of welding concepts, practices, and procedures.

4. Two (2) years experience as a welder.

5. Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
