YARD (When not on a job site): 

1. Supervise and direct employees engaged in processing equipment movement transactions.
2. Supervise operational personnel assigned to the yard.
3. Enforce company policies and safety regulations.
4. Establish and prioritize work schedules to accommodate changing customer demands.
5. Develop and implement plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.
6. Control of labor overtime and maintain work records.
7. Work with staff to determine routing and legal load limits of trucks, according to established schedules and weight limits of states.
8. Ensure that periodic maintenance and repair of yard equipment, machinery, and vehicles is completed on a routine basis.
9. Confer with sales staff to establish and agree on schedule of equipment to be shipped/returned.
10. Ensure all required paperwork is accurately completed prior to the close of business.
11. Ensure all returned equipment is assessed and returned to its proper yard storage location prior to the close of business.
12. Supervise and coordinate monthly perpetual stock take and semi annual stock take.

CUSTOMER SITES: 

1. Follow all on-site safety regulations.
2. Support our customers by explaining the safe assembly and installation of our equipment using both written instructions provided with equipment and product knowledge.
3. Provide our customers with professional and efficient support as needed for each individual job.
4. Liaise with customers, engineering, and the sales staff.
5. Local travel necessary with occasional extended travel.
6. Prepare site reports daily, keeping accurate records and files.
7. Troubleshoot all equipment in the MBSI product range.
8. Follow DOT regulations and submit weekly logs as applicable.

This position requires the Yard duties 80% of the time and the Customer Site duties 20% of the time.
