Mabey Bridge & Shore is seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative for Jacksonville, FL to cover the Jacksonville/ Savannah Territory.
Duties / Responsibilities - Outside Sales Representative:
- Identify rental business opportunities with potential customers and calling on project managers, superintendents, estimators, engineers, business owners and related agencies to solicit business.
- Develop and maintain working relationships by cold-calling, appointments, and tele-prospecting new clients and an existing customer base.
- Responsible for maintaining revenues and reaching or exceeding sales budgets along with continued growth and development within the assigned territory with the established expectations and goals set forth by the company and regional sales manager.
- Work closely with the Depot Manager, Inside Sales, and other support staff to ensure customer relationships are appropriately maintained.
- Responsible for the accurate and daily entries into the company approved Customer Contact Management system as well as tracking all projects out to bid.
- Responsible for the implementation of sales and marketing campaigns to promote the company, its products, and its services to new and existing customers as set forth by the company and regional sales manager.
- Develop and maintain a working knowledge of competitors' market presence and actions
- Assist in preparing customer inquiries, quotes, etc. utilizing company authorized forms and documents with accuracy and attention to detail meeting the company standards.
- Responsible for producing sales, marketing and any other reports as required by the company and the regional sales manager.

Must have at least 3 years of sales experience in the construction industry, preferably rentals

A bachelor’s degree preferred

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Must be knowledgeable in the use of Microsoft Office
