We are looking for a talented, regional Vice President to lead our existing and future operations in California and the western region. The Vice President - West position reports to the MBSI President and has General Management responsibilities for Profit/Loss and Operations in the region. This is a key position on the executive leadership team and to MBSI’s corporate goals of achieving significant long-term corporate growth in the Western region across all business areas. Position is located near Sacramento, CA with direct reporting to MBSI headquarters in Baltimore, MD.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and Manage existing and future Operations and personnel in the Western region including Project Management, Logistics, Workflow Management, Depot Facilities and expansion, Inventory Management
• Develop and execute against key measures of performance and profitability
• Contract Negotiation, Administration, and Management of MBSI agreements in the region
• Key member of corporate leadership team with critical inputs into Strategy, Budgets, Sales & Marketing, Financials, and Pricing
• Professionally represent MBSI in relationships with customers, partners, suppliers, competitors, government agencies, and professional associations
• Effective Communication with all levels of MBSI organization and customer organization
• Committed to creating and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment

The Vice President – West will possess a reputation for general management and leadership skill in an operations-oriented environment.

 

• Demonstrated record of successfully building, leading and growing an operational organization from a small enterprise to a larger enterprise

• Knowledge of Construction Management and/or Project Management desiredSelf-motivated, performance and results driven, “hands-on" manager

• Problem Solver in fast-paced business; technical background preferred

• Demonstrated ability to balance growth and profitability decisions with longer-term corporate objectives while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and business ethics

• Strong people skills with a record of successful customer interactions

• Ability and willingness to travel frequently within region, periodically to Baltimore headquarters, and to Europe as needed or requested (passport required)

• Computer literacy and Proficiency in Microsoft Office required

   

  Compensation:  Base Bonus Package, Commensurate with experience $100K
