Mabey Bridge & Shore, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Representative - to support all product lines at our Headquarters in Elkridge, Maryland. 

 

This position reports to the Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing and will be a member of the company’s strategy committee.  This position will provide branding strategy, marketing analysis and statistical data on market trends for the company’s products and geographic locations.  This position requires a high degree of professionalism, effective interpersonal skills and a team player mentality. 


Duties / Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for brand marketing and maximizing web presence through social media and other means.
  • Researches and analyzes market conditions in local, regional, or national area to determine potential sales of product or service.
  • Runs analysis involving competitors, pricing, sales, and methods of marketing
  • Reviews existing and potential customer preferences, economic conditions, advertising, distribution, and other factors that may influence future sales.
  • Analyzes data and recommends specific actions based on findings.
  • Establishes research methodology and designs format for data gathering, such as surveys, opinion polls, or questionnaires.
  • Examines and analyzes statistical data to forecast future marketing trends.
  • Oversight of customer loyalty program, collects data on customer preferences and buying habits.
  • Prepares reports and graphic illustrations of findings. 
  • Supports a broad range of marketing activities and/or promotes sales and creates goodwill for organization's products or services among customers or prospects.
  • Supports activities in promotional programs and advertising, including coordination of printing, copy editing, shipping, and delivery of materials.
  • Updates website on a regular basis and works with developers to build new portions of the site.
  • Interacts with a range of distributors, advertising sales representatives, vendors, and public relations firms.
  • Coordinates event management including local events, sampling events, and trade shows.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 


Requirements:

 

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree with a major in Marketing or equivalent
  • At least 4 years of marketing experience in a private organization, preferably in the construction or utilities industry.
  • Requires high proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and social media management
  • Requires experience with an inventory control system and customer management system.
  • Requires basic knowledge of HTML codes and web design.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organized with ability to multi-task, but ultimately, clear prioritization skills are a must.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
