Mabey Bridge & Shore, Inc. is seeking an experienced Military Contracts Administrative Assistant to support our Bridging Division in Elkridge, Maryland for a contract position lasting six months.
Duties / Responsibilities:
Responsible for specialized tasks in one or more of the following disciplines: logistics analysis, provisioning, technical writing, and instructional design/development. Specifically, these tasks may include:
• Provides comprehensive administrative and logistical support to the Bridging contract staff, including scheduling meetings, development of presentations, and analyzing and reporting of data
• Assist in developing and maintaining parts and drawings databases
• Communicate with vendors and suppliers
• Compiles data based on research techniques and on statistical compilations involving an understanding of operating programs, policies, and procedures.
• Assist in writing, editing & production of technical, training, and maintenance manuals
• Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent or additional years of experience in lieu of degree
- At least one year experience working with DoD/Army acquisition logistics contract
- Excellent communication skills and time management skills
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with LOGSA powerLOG-J and COMPASS tools is preferred
